Nowadays a special equipment (folding and gluing) equipment provides gluing process. There is a raw of stages: the forms get into the machine, then the machine folds it by folding lines, i.e. creates the shape. After that, it puts the glue in certain points (from 1 to 6). At the final stage the glue hardens under the press which provides reliable contact of product`s parts.
Different adhesives are used for gluing. For example, if the product and the packaging is supposed to be kept in extreme temperatures, only certain kind of adhesive can be used, because ordinary PVC glue doesn`t hold frost and high humidity. Although the PVC is the most common glue for fixing of carton. You need to mention the conditions in which the product will be kept while making the ordering to choose the right glue. There is also hot melt adhesive that provides higher strength and faster drying, but it is more expensive.
